MIDIATOR: PRODUCTS | VISION PRO

The newest product of Midiator, the Vision Pro console, has been introduced at PLASA 2010. The main difference with the Vision is the incorporation of 8 motorized faders that give the user the possibility to control the levels of attached devices like media-servers, video equipment or even the motorized faders of a light desk.

The Vision Pro is thus more video-oriented by giving the user full possibility of controlling media servers and other equipment. This means that we give users full previews of the layers, outputs, metadata and thumbs. In this way controlling media servers will finally be going to how it 's meant to be: Pure visually!
Typical setups could consist of a mixture of media-servers (e.g. two Hippo’s, one Pandora’s Box) and supporting equipment like Input scalers, Matrix switchers, Light desks and other devices, all controlled from one interface in a live environment!

SYSTEM OVERVIEW

The Vision Pro (running on the VisionOS) has many features included which focus on full (semi) live show control. Some higlights are:

CONNECTIVITY

All device specific protocols are integrated in our expanding library.
All parameters of devices are presented in 'real values', no geeky stuff visible!
Support for devices is divided in 4 levels (see compatible devices for more information)
The OS supports multiple (sub) networks of devices to sync with.
Up to 64 independent devices can be controlled at once
All communication with supported devices is realtime!

FEEDBACK

Communication with devices is always fully bidirectional.
The status of connected devices is always synced.
Feedback of media servers can consist of up to 64 layers (x layers of y devices)

INTERFACE

The interface consist of contemporary design elements.
A lot of naviagtion is fully gesture based
Onscreen buttons / sliders / and other elements are fully touchscreen optimized.
Different clever combinations of hardware and software buttons are part of the OS.
The syntax and order of commands is fully standardized and consistent.
The interface can consist of 8 independent docks and 8 independent pages.
There are up to up to 768 independent linked device items.

We have 4 levels of support for devices built in our VisionOS. The higher the level, the more a device is integrated and can be controlled from the VisionPro interface.
